Successful candidate with experience in TIG, MIG, and Arc welding, as well as Mill experience will take priority. Must be a self-starter, and  capable of working 3rd shift 10:30pm - 7am Sunday - Saturday. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  Must gain knowledge of facility operations in order to properly understand production needs. Candidate will perform daily inspections of machinery while in operation and at rest, and be able to perform proper diagnosis and repairs in a timely manner in order to eliminate down time. Will be responsible for reading and understanding mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and minor electrical technical drawings. Must be able to manage entire PM routine for individual machines, to include PM, overhaul, part ordering, proper paperwork, and machine familiarity. Candidate must be able to adopt new skills rapidly, and if needed provide on the job training for new employees. Must possess outstanding communication skills, be professional, and capable of positively interacting with operators, quality control, and supervisory employees.  MSHA and OSHA certification is preferred . You must at ALL times understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required. The Maintenance Mechanic will attend to housekeeping in the Maintenance work area.
